In our work together, we focused on:
1) NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION & BURNOUT RECOVERY: She was experiencing severe anxiety and chronic stress responses. We worked on nervous system awareness, grounding practices, and reframing her relationship with rest. She learned that her buzzing in her body and anxious energy, where she just HAD TO MOVE, was her body responding as flight mode to a toxic environment. She gained tools to transform her stress response from reactive to regulated.
2) VALUES-BASED DECISION MAKING: She felt paralyzed trying to figure out what to do next. We used life design frameworks to identify her core values (community, connection, stability, wellness, learning) and to create three distinct career pathways, so she didn't feel she had no choices. She moved from fear-based decision-making to confident, values-aligned choices.
3) STRATEGIC CAREER POSITIONING: She didn't recognize her own competence. We built a comprehensive skill bank, created multiple resume versions, identified her Zone of Genius (T-shaped leadership, coalition building, technical communication), and developed her professional narrative. She went from "I don't know if I'm good enough" to "I am good at this."
The results were extraordinary:
Within 4 months, she successfully quit her toxic job (her resignation went better than expected, with supportive leadership responses). She created a financial runway with her partner's full support. She took a week-long solo vacation. Her therapist came back from maternity leave, shocked at the transformation (and she had finally taken action on an issue they had been working on for two years!)
Most importantly, her young daughter now lights up and says "I'm so excited!" when mom asks about her day, a complete shift from the disconnected parent-child dynamic at our start.
What was her ROI of coaching?
