Stop Underselling Yourself at Work
and Get Paid Your Worth
Learn how to build a
startegic career and leadership narrative
that gets you paid your worth,
in language that leadership notices.
But there's a voice in your head that says you're not senior enough to be the strategic thinker who belongs in that room (even though you've been doing exactly that work for years).
So you take on more. Because everybody depends on you, because you always deliver, and so, they keep loading you up, and you let them.
And you secretly fear - if you're not the one doing everything and always showing up as the capable leader who "has it all together," they might figure out they don't need you. I call that "proving" energy instead of "peer" energy.
Proving means you're always chasing being approved or trying to prove yourself capable of a job you're already qualified for.
Underselling doesn't feel like underselling while you're doing it. It feels like being humble, being a team player, not making it all about you.
It can show up like this:
In your review, your biggest win of the year becomes "that was a team effort" or bolstering your team's wins and not doing the same for yourself
With a client, you say your rate and follow it right away with "but I'm flexible on it" or give an immediate discount
Someone asks what you do and you give them your job title and a list of responsibilities or what you "oversee"
You describe the call you made, the problem you solved, or the thing you kept from falling apart as "just doing my job"
You rehearsed the your negotiation script and ask before the meeting, and froze during the conversation
And it matters more than it feels like it does, because the people deciding your salary, your promotion, and whether a client says yes are working from either the story you handed them, or what they absorbed on their own.
Hand them task language and you get valued as a mid-level worker, not the strategic thinker and leader you actually are.
That's exactly what we're going to change in this workshop.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
The 4 shifts that took me from $25K to $300K in just 8 years
And my RIIO framework, which you'll use on your own career story, so you leave with language you can use this week
Walk Into High-Stakes Conversations Grounded
There's a window of tolerance in your nervous system, and that's where things feel safe and when you go beyond that, the fears and doubts creep in, so you'll stay small and safe.
So when you become more visible at work, or you're about to ask for more money, most rooms don't get the confident version of you. They get the survival version. We'll start with the 90-second reset I use before every high-stakes conversation, so you can enter the room as the regulated, confident leader you already are.
Most of us were raised on the idea that if you keep your head down and deliver, the right people will notice. Who actually decides your salary, your promotion, your contract, are the people working from the story you handed them, or the one they absorbed on their own (even if it wasn't the one you intended). Go from always needing to "prove" energy to I already am that leader "peer" energy.
You'll learn RIIO, the four questions I use to turn "I was just doing my job" into the story that gets you paid, and run your own story through it live.
Who am I to charge that?
I don't have the executive presence to get noticed
I have to always do more, take on more, and say yes to whatever is asked of me
You've been treating those as personality traits, but they're really a learned protection pattern creating your unconscious belief ceiling. It's the cold or emergency in your business that shows up right when things are going well and pulls you back down to where it feels safe. We'll identify the sneaky limiting beliefs you didn't even know you were carrying and understand how to stop limiting your growth and opportunities.

After five or more years at the same company, you're almost never valued at market. You're valued against the first salary you walked in with, and every raise since has been a percentage of that first number. For business owners, it's the first price you ever quoted and where you raise your price from there.
Once you can tell your story clearly, you'll find out fast whether the fix is a new path where you are, or a different path and opportunity entirely. We'll walk through how to tell the difference, and what your options look like either way.
Hi, I’m Elizabeth
I spent 20 years in tech leadership, including roles like Global Director at HubSpot, building products and teams across San Francisco, Boston, and Dublin.
I went from generating $500K in 18 months at my first startup (and only earning 25k by not being able to articulate any of it) to earning $300K+ in senior roles in just 8 years, because I learned how to translate what I'd done into language that matched the value I was actually creating.
Now I help senior professionals do the same so they can get paid their worth, become recognized as the leader they already are instead of always needing to "prove" they are good at their job.

Elizabeth approaches coaching with empathy and curiosity and provides highly personalized and actionable resources and support. I now have a clearer vision of what my ideal work-life balance is, what purpose-driven work looks like for me, and an action plan to get there.
Erica O.

I now clearly see my areas of excellence and have the confidence to back them up with tangible proof of my skills and accomplishments. This experience didn’t just help me leave a job. It transformed my life from one of burnout and fear to one of living with presence and purpose
Erin

I am more calmly confident in my career path, when before I was stuck and unfulfilled. I am in a new role that I enjoy and value, and I am not second-guessing it. She has a process that works. Do the work and trust it. You won’t regret taking the leap.
